There is alot of spyware out there going on.

My recommendation is as follows.

Even with your spyware detectors on.

You should move all your downloads to a desktop folder. from there in your folder options change the icon to something very noticable, I used a red stop button thats easy to find.

From there anything that comes in will have that new folder options pic taged to it. You can quickly scan for that pic off you "Find files". Review the selections and then delete what you want.

Considering that Spyware has the ability to determine where those "target locations" I'd manually move files from a folder to another. That way not even widows maps it.

As for spyware, try joining a proxy.

and download their beta adawre program. its free and works quite well at stopping them and erasing them as well and viruses too
