I know this might be a weird place to ask a question about youtube, but there's many experts on this kinda stuff so...

I can't watch videos on youtube while using firefox. With IE videos run fine.
While using firefox i can watch streaming videos of youtube on many websites. Is only when i'm on youtube that the message "an error has ocurred" appears.

I have the latest versions of mozilla firefox and adobe flash player. I have installed them both three times. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I get the same Problem like many others some Mont ago.

Could it be that you installed the Add On >Downloadhelper > in your Firefox ?
The old Version of them make this Error with Youtube. If you have Downloadhelper -delete them - and install the new Version of Downloadhelper, the Bug is fixed..

Hope this is the Problem.

Thanks, I never thought that the problem could be the use of Downloadhelper Smile

Disable your cookies and it will work again. This problem only occurs on Firefox and Opera. I'm sure it has something to do with some dirty cookies which IE and Chrome allow and the better browsers don't
