Change RAR file name?

If you have a video file named "X" and you want to put it into a RAR/ZIP file, can you change the name of the RAR file AFTERWARD to not reflect the video's name?

Or if you download "X", would you have to change it BEFORE putting it into a RAR file, so they are the same name?

Changing the name of a rar/zip file would not affect the video/set within in any way.

I change the file names of rar files very often, to match to a specific topic.
No harm to the stuff within.
