Life offers everything you need to live.
Sex and porn is very attractive. So are drugs (included alcohol), girls, fast cars, money, power, TV, computer-games , you name it. That all is part of life.
Making a choice is a skill everyone has to learn, it doesn't come with birth all by itself. Learning that takes a lifetime. Learning to make sound choices and decisions is where life is all about.
I experienced my addiction as a blessing in disguise. Really. Thanks to that I
had to make a decision, a choice. I was sort of **** to by my addiction. But first I had to
learn how to do that, how to make choices. As soon as I started to learn that, my (own) life begun.
Compare a bird to a stone. The earth's gravity is very attractive to or pulling both. Yet the stone obeys the earth's gravity and it falls down straight. A bird plays with gravity, defies it and eventually chooses it's own direction to go, that's called flying. The earth pulls him down, but if he wants to, he will fly straight up towards the clouds.
Learning to make a choice is like learning to fly.
Actually, if you feel like a habit (collecting porn for instance) has taken over control, making a decision to stop that is the first (and most important) step in GETTING YOUR LIFE BACK. Your life as a human being.
Like in a bird's case, the very essence of being a bird is to fly, we human are beings born to make choices. A by divine intervention, no life can be lived without making choices. No life is worth living without that.
An addiction is no more than a reminder of the fact that you have neglected your power to make your choices and it urges you to make some. Quick. So you can't forget that.
With the ability to choose, sex and porn and drugs (included alcohol), and girls, fast cars, money, power, TV and computer-games, they are all fun and good and valuable and... Well, I don't want to live without
all that!
Blablabla... Whatever
Seriously: I wish true freedom to you, with or without porn, whatever makes you happy. Choose life! It's the best...
