no more movies with story lines

What happened to the adult movie world. I mean these days all you get is a bunch of porn scenes with no story. What ever happened to the older style porn movies. They would have a story line through out the whole movie.

And why can't porn actresses these days act. In the older porn movies they could actually act the part they were playing. But today they can't seem to do anything other then sex.

So what changed between the porn of old & the porn of today?

It's all about one thing - money.

Stories, even really lousy ones, are expensive.
Sets, costumes, places, all costs.

I can remember one porn movie made by Private years ago, which was shot in a free fall aircraft.

Don't know, what that costs, but I guess more than overall costs of today's movies.

I miss the old story pornos because I enjoyed the bad acting, especially when the maidens were fully or partially naked. The sex in videos also seems to be getting more abusive all the time too.

As far as budgets and attempts at story lines and sets goes I'm most impressed by the early 80s flick Nurses of the 407th. They must've spent more on that than any cheesy Troma films production.
