Why do older men like younger girls and vice versa

It seems funny to me that older men with money are often dating younger girls...but why?

For example they recently broke up but the former Rolling Stones band member Ron Wood was 60 when he started dating 18 year old Russian Miss Ivanova

Or then there Lothar Mattäus is the former German world cup winner and soccer star (from Munich in Bavaria? I think) who also recently broke up with a Russian girlfriend Ivana who was 20 when she started dating Lothar who was 46.

First and foremost it's like the ABBA song: Money Money Money...

I know a girl friend (age 28) dating a 60+ years old man (well-heeled of course).
She said, he's a gentleman, courteous and very experienced.
And it's not only the money she insisted, but I would bet that money really makes the difference.

It's kind of like the old joke:

A 60 y.o. man has his choice between bedding a woman his age and a 20 year old. Hmmmmm, he'd probably have to think for a nanosecond or two there.

However, if you're talking about a long term relationship where meaningful conversations become an issue, then things are a bit different. Hearing the word "like" 4 or 5 times each sentence gets really old.

When you are young you don't miss your youth.

It's a no brainer. Women are at their peak (physically) when they are 20 and young women don't want to date college guys because college guys are idiots.

The younger ones flock to the older guys because we intrigue them. When they try to pull their games, that they are used to pulling with guys their ages, we refuse to put up with it. That get's them completely confused, so they keep trying until they stop the BS because they figure we don't care.

I recently returned to the Uni after years and I'm being chased by a 19 yo sorority girl, because I keep putting her off. I tell her she's not old enough, but she knows I'm screwing one that 5 days older than her. It really ticks her off. Ha, she's trying to persuade me to join a Frat, so we can date.

This question is just basic biology. Young, fertile female desired by aging, successful male. Status and resources desired by young female, particularly those with little other than their fleeting beauty with which to land resources.

Same for humans as with every other species of mammals.

The far more interesting question is why young women often choose guys who treat them like garbage when there are equivalent guys who would treat them better? There is nothing biological about that one. It appears to be a uniquely human occurence that is actively detrimental to the survival of one's genes. Never could understand that one.

I agree with above poster because we can. Why do younger women like older men I believe they either need comfort i.e. money, power, and usually have a daddy complex (they are looking for emotional comfort from a stand in father figure).
