can anyone tell me way was link-protector.com removed from the approved Link Protectors list?

I´m not 100% sure, but it was something about account phishing.

As far as I remember link-protector.com was never taken on the "Permitted File Hosts, Image Hosts and Link Protectors" list.

To the best of my recollection it was supposed to be runned by Phishers.
In addition to being redirected to the phishing page, instead of the actual targetsite, the link could end up on a sitepage with a box "Click here to redirect".
If you did so you where getting malware installed on your pc.

As far as I remember, pr0tect-links.com was once on the list, but many phisher used it, so it was removed.

protectlinks.com is still on the list and works fine.

thx guys for clearing it up,
this service was once on the approved list, that for sure. also I think that link-protector is one of the best because every user have the possibility to register (free) to the service and then he can track/edit all his links shortcuts. very useful, I think..
anyway, I'll use another link protector.
