For those of you who download and/or view flash video online (people do post .FLV files here afterall and I'm sure many of you view the porntube sites), there is an important update coming soon from Adobe. It adds GPU accelerated decoding under Windows and Linux which is something those of you with older or lesser systems certainly need. This will be coming in the next public release of Flash but it is available in the latest Beta version if you want to try it and it will require you to update your graphics drivers to the latest version. All recent ATI and Nvidia graphics hardware released within the last few years will support it and Intel currently supports it in their latest graphics hardware as well. I'll post here when the release is finalized but if you want to try the Beta software for yourself, let me know in this thread and I will post the links/information.
