I couldn't access the website of my only true porn forum, i.e. forumophilia.com
Was it down or what? And why?

It was down for some time.
Don't know why, since I'm in the same situation as you.
My only acces is thrue the browser.
I left and came back now after 2 hours 15 minutes.
Judging from your posttime I would say it was down for 20-30 minutes.
That is approx what a reboot of a server would take.
