Why? The rules exist for rational logical reasons. To know what they are would be nice.

There are many scam sites that try to get people to install a virus on their computer by requiring an active x object to be downloaded in order to view the streaming content.

The sites that are legit usually have too many pop up ads and are full of spam... to make life easy we just ban it altogether.
