Porn can be a good alternative when you are bored with your wife of so many years, instead of going out chasing other women and cheating on your wife. It can also work as a stimulant for you, get you horny enough to do it again with your wife. Take the example of Al and Peg Bundy. Al looks at other women, look at porn, go to strip bars but did not really have the nerve to have sex with other women. When he gets real horny, he would go chase Peg again. Just set aside some time to look at porn and other than set time, don't even think about porn at all. Also keep your porn in a place where no one can see it. If you share a computer with your ****, you can create your own user account and keep everything secured so no one can see what you have been doing in the internet.

I would like to inform you of an important distinction and its one made by specialists, not religious kooks. The use of pornography obsessively or compulsively is just that, an obsession or a compulsion. If you find yourself using it obsessively / compulsively it may be the case that you have a problem that could use addressing. You likely display the same behaviors elsewhere in your life.

Addiction is a distinct physical dependency. It has symptoms that are not present with your porn habit. You will not feel the same withdrawal ever from leaving this website in your past as a heroin user or a cigarette smoker will feel when they abstain! Instead, you, should you have a problem, will feel the stress of someone with an obsessive disorder. The stress that one feels when they compulsively pull their hair and try to stop.

Whenever you feel that your behavior is causing you sever distress, you should seek professional help. But be aware that medical records are just that, records.

I am addicted. I look at it at least once a day and frankly it concerns me. Sometimes I collect the stuff I download but I go through phases of cleansing/repent and delete it out of a futile attempt to kick my habit but always end up downloading again; sometimes the same pictures/videos as before. Now, I don't know how how many are like that but I can sympathise with people who are addicted to alcohol and nicotine going through the same withdraw.

Does anyone care to share their thoughts on the subject of life with and without porn? Could be edifying.

I'm also curious how people juggle their porn hobby and their life wth family, a wife and other responsibilities that life demands. In all honesty, I have never thought I would be in this situation 10 years ago but I blame the internet for my addiction.

Well if we lived in UTOPIA instead of the fucked up world we live in now...it would be considered standard that males have extracuricular sex at least once a day and that porno stars would work for the state or local governments as social workers who spent one two or even three year or longer assignments as social workers. This way males who work would not be distracted by artificial porn but by being able to have real life sex. Once this is out of the way once a day the males could continue to concentrate on work and other activities. This would be a nice compromise since for the last one-hundred years or so women have been able to vote - a nice gesture for male liberation! Needless to say those males on welfare would only receive fuck passes once a week or so instead of once daily.... Cool

The only person I know who is living out that dream, and perhaps that was his reward or gift from god for being brave enough to publish heaven forbid nude photos of females in magazines in the 1950s when this was taboo - is the ONE and ONLY Hugh Hefner!

I watch porn and sexy woman on the internet a lot,
mostly I see it really as educative and interesting core biology and dont feel guilty about it too much. I guess internet(porn) is the beginning of a sexual revolution which can't be stopped, cause I know many many men feel attracted by it. It's very powerful. Evolution will find a way to integrate this more and more in our lives, Really I think in time it will be more and more accepted and be seen as a pleasure on it's own and can get along with love-relations and our daily lives.
On the other hand, if you spend too much time on it, and you see yourself having lack of sleep most of the week (cause of watching) and lack of most important social activities then it might get problematic.
I'dd say: Just try to seperate pleasure and your main goals in life strongly and see how it goes along. You might find yourself back in a situation where it's accepted or otherwise where you dont feel the need anymore to watch it, or at least not as often.
ENJOY!!

you need a real life. If you are not having real sex, no matter what the circumstances, I recommend abstaining from porn. It is not actually addictive, though many people find it compulsive. If you aren't fucking someone, don't look at this shit as an alternative. Jacking off will never be sex, but if you are engaged sexually but not fully satisfied, there is this internet world to come to....

We can make jokes about it, but for the person that sits in front of the computer all night and get 2 hours sleep before getting up for work it is a big issue.
I have been that person Rolling Eyes but I got away from the HC and now look at SC.
Its like you have to find the untimate image or vid before you go to sleep, but you never find it.

Well, I do porn a LOT, I am one of those previously mentioned that have GBs of porn on their drives. Still, blaming the internet is the wrong train of thought: it does not even make porn more readily available. It is just a medium that shares it out for free, as the inherent anarchy on the web is a booming invitation for pirats and leechers. If it werent for forums like these and if we all had to pay as much as the average sex shop charges, very few people would have the cash to rake up porn hoards like mine...

But then: Porn in general is fucking boring, pun intended. BJ, some pussy-licking, dipping the wiener, ah's and oh's, cumshot on various parts, thats the story. Every time. What makes it interesting for me is having different people do it (different women, rather, I dont care for guys as long as they are not ugly enough to be a turn-off). How do they look like when doing it, do they seem to enjoy it or are they just bored whores who could do the whole stunt while reading the paper, how do they like it and so on. And yes, I do feel consequences within my "real life": Same as I rarely watch porn with the same girl over and over again, I tend to get bored with my real life women, too, and fairly quickly. I don't have any "special kinks", no SM, no clothes fetishes, and neither am I into playing the doctor/teacher/whatever (in fact, I find it rather ridiculous dressing up in whites, poking a stetoscope around and moaning " Oh, Babe, lemme EXAMINE you, make sure you are not SICK, the Doctor will CHECK YOU UP real good..." Gotta try not to burst out laughing hard enough to make my boner drop... and in the end, the sex still stays the same Confused ). So no more venturing into various "perversities", I tried it all, and yes some women were really into it and have wanted to stick to me just for being the first who dared to bring up the subject. But sorry, that was a test run and I'm definitely NOT into this... Well, that leaves "variation" as my nonplus in sex, having me end up cycling through girlfriends or various other lays at a fairly quick rate (depending how quickly I can get rid of em and get a new one Wink ). But yeah, sooner or later I rather watch a few butt flicks and jack off when I feel I fucked the same woman long enough to get bored again. Besides, I am much in favor of the saying that "Fucking is better if you imagine jacking off": few women are as uninhibited and horny and cock-hungry bitches as it would take to keep me interested for long, so another point for porn...

And last not least, porn vids don't leave you with an assfull of snotty brats to rack your nerves. Porn vids don't want expensive presents on Valentine's Day. Porn Vids don't have In-Laws. Porn doesn't care if you have other hobbies besides. Porn doesnt bitch if you go fucking for real, while the other way around might give you hell. Porn never has a headache or menstrual problems. You can even drink beer while watching porn. And porn just disappears if you want it to.

So yeah, I am a porn addict. So Fucking What...
