What are the best advances made in porn over the last few decades?

1970s - International distribution of European porn, setting a new standard for hot girls and explicit, fetishy hardcore.

1980s - VHS. Made porn affordable and available on the cheap.

1990s - The Internet. Nuff said. (Existed in the late 80's, but only for nerds.)

2000s - Cell phones: pretty girls taking pictures of themselves and posting them online

2010s?? - I'm going to guess...3D contact lenses. Most 3D is lousy right now, but with 3D contacts your entire field of view would be in 3D focus (not just looking straight ahead through cheap universal glasses). For reasonable expense, eveyone will be able to get a fitted set of 3D contacts through optometrists, which will make 3D movies much more enjoyable, and will cause another boom in the porn industry.

Caveat: Americanization ruined most of these advances eventually, but for that see the Hate thread...

3D contact lenses won't happen, as too many people will forget they have them on and get into traffic accidents during any trial period they might get. Wraparound full vision 3D glasses that cover 85-90% of the field of vision, similar to the ones used at Disney's Captain Eo(or whatever it's called) at Disneyland(you know, the MJ film), could soon be standard equipment at movie theaters nationwide, if enough films get released using the technology. That's my theory, anyway.

Just an idea: personalized porn, means you can send any picture (or better pictures) of a girl to this site and maybe choose location and style of the porn, and a software will do the rest. The result may be a hot porn movie with a girl that looks nearly as the one from your picture (your ex-girlfriend, your next girlfriend or the girl you know you wil never get )
They also may offer pre-arranged movies with popular demand models: maybe Queen-mum, Doris Day or Grace Kelly.
