Need Help with Multimedia Transcoding Tool

I've got this Ematic MP3 Video player that came with conversion software, Multimedia Transcoding Tool 2.0.06. It converts to a 3GP format. It has a column for the file, and a column for the State. After I convert video files, the State column says "Fail. Time End". I've had movies convert to 70mb 1 hour files, and others that only convert 25 seconds to 25 mins long, various sizes.

I can't find any reason why this is happening. There's an MPEG 4 converter or H.263. Either option results in the same failure. All of the movies I'm converting are AVI.

Without knowing the specifics about the tool you're using to convert or the specs of your PC, it would be hard to diagnose an encoding problem. I've tried more than a dozen apps to edit video. Some of them didn't run well on my PC and some didn't work at all. There are a lot of variables. Operating system, codec issues, hardware and software conflicts and system specs, like the amount of RAM you have installed and your processor speed. Your best bet would be to contact the people who made the program. You could also join video editting forums and post your problem there.
