Lost access to a thread, unsure why

Greetings. I think my old account was purged or perhaps deleted (it used to be through my gmail account and I understand those were removed because of robots).

I went ahead and created a new account but the main thread I used to browse here wont let me in. It was nimrod1's epic Rapidshare thread and I'm wondering if it's now in the VIP section because I get "only users granted special access". If someone can confirm this and/or tell me what I can do to get access again I'd appreciate it. I didn't have 300 posts but I was a longtime member, all the way back to when his first thread was nuked and re-started.
