Anyone know of a work-around or a program to save to disk movies that are ostensibly "not downloadable"? i.e. the videos on some of the NewSensations sites.
Thanks,

Well 46 views and no replies. I posted a link to a site that can def show how to do this , its in my vid help page. Is it a streaming vid that U want to save ?? VLC player can do that easy.

Many thanks, MM. I'll consult the Scripture. Hope my penguin brain can wrap around it.

The VLC player is a great little thing, to be sure . . . makes the avi MUCH happier on the Mac. But I still can't figure out how to communicate with it in the effort to save streaming media. (I'm no HTML genius, it's obvious). Before I become annoying, (!) I must ask: any tip? If not, no harm, no foul. At any rate, better tips below!

If you Google a bit, you should be able to find a free software program called Camstudio. It allows you to define an area of the screen to capture, set the framerate and other quality features. It also captures audio. The output can be saved as AVI or as Flash.

Works very well, especially with streaming video, or practically anything you can see on your screen but not save.

Hey ****! Use it to capture live web cams!

Found that CamStudio does not work on my platform (Mac). However, I found SnapzPro, which does the trick! Thanks for your help, and Mac users, take note!

Sorry, I didn't know you were Mac-challenged. Personally, I swing both ways. Mac & PC of course. I'll check out Snapzpro. Thanks.
