As far as I know, you can copy files between different file hoster with the remote upload option (if the hoster allows remote uploads).

Works also with servers.

So if you upload your stuff on your server, you can remote upload them to your RS account within no time.

And if RS deletes some files, change the MD5 hash number of these files (there are some programs that will do that; and you need a server who allows you to edit uploaded files of course), and remote upload them again.
Works fine and will take only minutes.
No new upload needed.

I know at least one (ex-) member here, who used this method.

RS does not offer ftp access, and i guess your question is the reason why.
Some other hosters may do that and i think i have read something about a small ftp-client (can't remember the name) which allows you to open two instances connected with different ftp-accounts so you could copy files by just dragging them from one window to another.
But most of the free webspace hosters have a traffic limit, so if you want to make copies of your files you maybe have to pay for more traffic.
But what do you want to do exactly?
