First off, there will be rules to this thread.

No one may post on this thread unless they are a VIP with over 300 posts, or have posted notice that they wish to be excluded from Good Samaritan's generous offer of a Teen Funs membership upon reaching 300 posts. Do not try to post here to boost your post count.

I am asking the mods to delete any posts on this thread thast do not meet the stated criteria.

The purpose of this thread is to have a place where we non-spammers and non-leeches can just kick it, make random statements, discuss what matters to us and dog each others girl-posts...

OK, I'll bite. Why is a guy with 164 posts saying that only people that are VIP and 300+ folks can post in his exclusive thread?

You know it had to be asked first.

Because I have made it abuntantly clear that I am not posting in a quest for 300 or 500 or a 1000 like some [does Triple X ring any bells?], so I can post in my own thread under the 2nd set or prerequisites.

Awe it's not so bad to have a thread where people can chat without being dumped on for increasing their post count. The trouble is it may not be technically feasible.

Maybe it could be done with a forum though. I'm not sure how the post-counter works, but there may be a way to create a separate forum that doesn't link to the counter. Then every little "wow" and could be accepted as is, without people getting mad.

So who's on my shit list? Pretty well anybody who posts to Galleries and has 6 or less total posts. These are ALWAYS spammers. And people who use the subject line "Look!" in Pic Post. They're dickless shithole sister-kissing dweebs too.

Oh yeah and Republicans. They bite too.

as i did volunteer to have my post count wiped just to show that i wasnt here for the sole purpose of collecting the prize that is given i guess i must belong to this exclusive club,

I didn't misunderstand him. I just figured that if the posts didn't count at all, we could increase the number of participants.

BTW, I turned off hardware acceleration on the video card on my 2nd machine and it makes all the animated GIFs run smoother there as well. That is definitely the workaround for animations slowing down the scrolling. For instance, that "caught by dad" GIF animation was unviewable on the web page. I would have to save it to view it properly, but as soon as I had the CPU do the hard work instead of the vid card, all the problems went away. (That kept you off my shit list.)

I think the problem is a combination of how many frames are in your Gif and how much memory is on the video card. My AV only has 6 frames and your girl doing the Vulcan greeting (?) is 33 frames. That's a lot more processing. Plus it's a big frame with lots of pixels.

Windows has always had a hardware acceleration setting on the advanced properties of the display control panel. Slide it to full (the default setting) and the video card does most of the video processing work. This frees up the CPU and makes the PC run faster. Slide it all the way to "none" and the CPU does most of the work instead, using your PC's RAM instead of video RAM. You use this control to troubleshoot video problems.

The problems may be caused by out-of-date video drivers, or in this case, something that pushes the video card harder than it was meant to be. A good gaming vid card with lots of memory wouldn't be slowed by these GIFs, but a business machine might.

Just for fun, here's your sig file with every 2nd frame removed. Instead of being 1.4 MB, it's a little over 700Kb. I added a delay on every frame to keep the overall cycle time about the same.
